Hello beautiful people, I want to apologise for my absence. Its been an insane week, but the posting will be back to normal. This break also gave me some time to think about providing great content for you guys and I am super excited and I cant wait to share.
Today I want to share a few of my April favourites that have featured in my spring wardrobe. Seeing that we are off to a late Spring start, I am taking advantage of the rainy, cool weather, and getting my rocker chic on.
I love my classic black leather jacket. It compliments a lot of my outfits. I don’t have to worry about getting wet in the rainy weather and it keeps me warm while adding an edgy look to most of my outfits. Dressed up with some heels or dressed down with a pair of jeans, this piece is going to continue to be a staple in my wardrobe for the rest of the season.
I am also crushing on a cropped ankle pair of jeans. I recently went out and may have splurged and bought a couple. I don’t regret the purchase because they are versatile, and coupled with its figure flattering capabilities, it also allows me to show off my shoe collection with ease. Needless to say, as I am in a rocker chic phase, I am pretty sure I am going to wear them all spring and summer. I know that this season we are seeing a cropped flared jean taking storm, but unfortunately I will have to pass on this trend. Not that there is anything wrong with the cropped flare jean – it is just unflattering for my body type. However, if you can rock some, grab yourself a pair this spring as this denim trend has officially hit mainstream.
Another one of my faves this spring is a mule heel. Okay I am going to stop here and take a second to just say that I am officially a believer of the mule. This trend is not new but I was never intrigued. I thought they looked clunky and too bulky.. not until I found the perfect pair. It is safe to say that I will use and abuse this trend this spring and summer season and will add a flat pair as well as another pointed heel in the coming weeks.
Last I have a classic white button down short. This should be an essential in every closet. Even though trends come and go, this is always going to be a staple in my closet. Its versatility allows me to either tuck it into my favourite pair of jeans or skirt, I can tie a knot or just let the shirt loose and pair it with leggings. It’s safe to say that I am always here for a white classic button down shirt and will be rocking my button down this spring and summer season.
What are your favourite pieces out of the four mentioned above? What you crushing on and likely to rock this spring and summer? Leave me a comment below, I would love to hear from you! Until next post, chat soon lovers.
