Back in 1978, winemaker Jacques de Coninck took a trip from his family's nearly 300 year old winery in St. Emilon, France to California's budding Napa Valley to scope out some of the area's vineyard sites that boasted the very best climate conditions and soil types. What he discovered there over 30 years ago was 225 acres of prime real estate that he and his family purchased and turned into the Beaucanon Estate Winery where, since 1983, they have been producing some of Napa Valley's most distinctive, epic and uncommon wines.
These are varietals true to the de Coninck's rich heritage that express the intense fruit quality of California with the balance and elegance of the Bordeaux structure. Tasting any of the Beaucanon Estate labels is like experiencing a world class wine that still, however, remains a treasured secret here in the heart of Napa Valley.
